I think we've had a great first two weeks of school. Your child brought home the "Sowing Seeds of Faith" pamphlets on Friday.

Thank you to the families that donated new AR books to the fifth grade library.

Your child should return the summer math practice books on Monday to be in the drawing for prizes.

Make sure your child knows his/her multiplication and division facts.  A large portion of our year in fifth grade math is multiplying and dividing. 

Don't forget to sign the page in your handbook and send it back to school.  There is an additional place for students to sign this year.

Please consider volunteering for lunch recess duty from 11:30 to 12:30.  You will not be alone on the playground.  Mr. Wilson or another experienced volunteer will be with you.

None of the students seem to be having any difficulty finding
AR books to read in class, so we will continue to read the AR books in our library in class.  Many children have additional books at home if they wish to read something that is not AR.

Don't forget to save solid colored or clear plastic lids and broccoli rubber bands.  Thanks
