Dear Friend of Saint Andrew School:
"Time, talent, and treasure" are words that are often used as appeals are made to your generosity. But these words have a special meaning in the context of elementary school education. Our children are important treasures to our families and our church. They enter school, some as early as 3 years of age, and teachers put their time and energy into helping these children develop their talents. As students mature, we see the fruits of those efforts in names on high school honor rolls, scores on standardized tests, photos in the local paper, seeing who is serving at Mass on the weekend, or just word of mouth from neighbors. Our children are indeed a treasure-with talents that need time and teachers to develop.
As the pastors of Saint Andrew and Saint Francis Xavier, we have the responsibility for the oversight and decision making at Saint Andrew School, the only Catholic School in Jackson County, Illinois, and the Catholic School farthest south in our diocese and the State of Illinois. In that capacity, we ask you to please remember to share your own time, talent, and treasure with the school at Annual Fund time, and throughout the year. As for time and talents, the school routinely announces its open positions in our bulletins and is always in need of new names on the substitute teachers list and volunteers for the library, playground and other things. As for treasure, the school depends very much on the generosity of donors to the Annual Fund.
Catholic education is so important to the future of our church and our community and so we urge you to remember Saint Andrew School in your prayers and your contributions.
Please consider making a one time or monthly donation to Saint Andrew School by clicking on the link below. The Annual Fund drive is the most important source of unrestricted funds available to SaintAndrew School. Most donors begin their charitable giving relationship with the school through their support of the Annual Fund. Funds from annual giving provide operating monies that support the ongoing work at the school and bridge the gap between tuition and the actual cost to educate a student.
Your gift to the Annual Fund helps Saint Andrew School continue its history and mission of providing a well-rounded, quality education in a faith-based atmosphere to families in Jackson County. A successful annual fund drive helps keep tuition as affordable as possible for students and their families.
Your generosity helps us provide financial assistance to those desiring an education at Saint Andrew School who may not be able to afford it.
Donations to the annual fund are fully tax-deductible, and can be paid by cash, check, and credit card.
The Saint Andrew School family thanks you for your donation!
